![]() The first time you receive a Duo Push request on your iOS device which requires biometric verification, you'll be prompted to grant Face ID permission to the Duo Mobile app. You can approve Duo authentication requests with Face ID if your device supports it. Your organization may require biometric verification when you approve a Duo Push request. On devices that do not feature 3D Touch, swipe left on the Duo Mobile notification to reveal the actions. When your screen is unlocked, long-press or swipe down on the Duo Mobile banner notification received to reveal the authentication actions. Tap an action and supply your passcode or biometric verification (face or fingerprint) to complete the action. ![]() Perform a firm longpress on the Duo Mobile notification from the lock screen to reveal the "Approve" or "Deny" actions. The actions presented to you when you respond to the notification depend on your organization's Duo policy settings, such as whether or not you can approve the login request without PIN or biometric verification. You can respond to Duo Push requests from the iOS lock screen or banner notification. Tap OK to continue to the Duo Mobile app. You can still approve a Duo Push request by opening the Duo Mobile app and approving the pending authentication. If you tapped Yes, this was a suspicious login, Duo will silence all Duo Mobile notifications for the next 20 minutes. If you made a mistake or the login isn't suspicious, tap No to deny the request without reporting it. If you aren't trying to log into an application or service protected by Duo and don't recognize the request, tap Yes to notify your organization's Duo administrator. You’ll be asked if this was a suspicious login. If you get a login request that you weren't expecting, press Deny to reject the request. If you choose to authenticate with Duo Push, you'll get a login request sent to your phone - just press Approve to authenticate. Now you're able to respond to Duo Push authentication requests, or generate passcodes to log in to applications. You'll see your newly-added Duo account in the accounts list. Return to the accounts list to exit the new account process. Tap Allow notifications to permit notifications from Duo Mobile in iOS settings. You'll see new Duo Push requests when they arrive at your device, and can approve or deny from the notification without opening the app. Respond to Duo Mobile even faster by enabling notifications. If you feel comfortable using Duo Mobile to log in to applications you can tap Skip. Tap Practice now to go through some training screens like this one. ![]() It's a good idea to take a few minutes to practice approving and denying Duo authentication requests if you haven't used Duo before. Give the new account a name to complete adding it to Duo Mobile. If you're prompted to allow Duo Mobile permission to use your device camera, please grant it. Use your camera to scan the QR code shown by Duo Enrollment in your browser. To proceed with adding your initial Duo account to Duo Mobile, tap Use a QR code. Launch Duo Mobile and step through the introduction screens. When you enroll in Duo for the first time and choose to add an iOS device or use Duo Push, you're shown a QR code to scan with the Duo Mobile app to complete activation. The app version will be displayed in the bottom left corner. To see which version of Duo Mobile is installed on your device, open Duo Mobile and tap the menu icon. Supported Platforms: The current version of Duo Mobile supports iOS 14.0 and greater. Find the latest version of Duo Mobile in the App Store.

![]() ![]() It's not quite in the same league as the Warthog, but it is a little cheaper. However, for those inclined to make this indulgence a more permanent part of their setup, the X56 has holes present in its bases to allow you to affix it to nearly any surface with the appropriate hardware.įeaturing adjustable stick tension and over 180 programmable controls, this throttle and joystick combo is a quality setup. While it does come with suction cups that can be attached to the base for increased stability, without them, I found the stick and throttle far too eager to slip around on my desk. The entire setup for the X56 is deceptively light. The hardware still feels sturdy, but the seam running along the joystick handle is a bit jarring given the quality present on the rest of the build. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the metal top plate on both the flight stick and throttle doesn't extend to the base and that both the stick and throttle are composed mostly of plastic. The throttle panel also hosts an entire series of metal switches and knobs that look and feel absolutely awesome. The throttle can be unlocked to provide inputs for left and right engines individually. But trust me, if you're serious about the best PC joystick, this is it, and once you pick it up, you'll never think about its price again.Īn update to the aging X55, the Logitech X56 HOTAS improves nearly every aspect of the older Saitek design, but it still has many of the same features that made its predecessor great. This explains why the price has steadily crept up since then too. The Warthog was originally released over ten years ago and is still the best you can buy. However, that's easily mapped onto any number of extra hat switches or even extra analog joysticks. The only slight miss, and one that owes to its A-10C Warthog replica status, is the lack of Z-rotation on the stick to offering rudder control. It feels great to use in-game, too, providing you with all the possible control permutations you could need without ever having to go near your keyboard again. I will sit there idly flipping switches even when the thing's unplugged the action is so satisfying.Īll that weight means it practically sticks to your desk as you fling your Cobra MkIII around in Elite: Dangerous like a BSG Viper, and if you're so inclined, the drill holes are there if you want to make it a permanent addition too. And not just buttons either extra hat switches adorn the throttle itself, one that can be split in two should you need discrete control, and there are a host of toggles and metal flick switches too. Its casing is entirely made of metal and adorned with buttons. It is one of the finest pieces of PC peripheral engineering I've ever experienced. ![]() so when you're selling a PC game and you don't allow people to host their own server, you are shooting yourself in the foot. It's also one of the reasons why I prefer PC gaming to console gaming. When you're relying entirely on soulless corporate servers, you don't get that. In my experience playing multiplayer games, people generally hop around from server to server until they find one (or a few) they like, and frequent those. and that's what you get to experience as a player. When you run your own server, you get to set it up the way you want and create your own atmosphere. not just because I might want to run my own server (though I have in the past, it was pretty cool), but also because I might like somebody else's server. I probably wouldn't buy a game based on that alone. Not being able to run your own server is utter garbage, though. Not saying there aren't cheaters out there, but I'm sure there's not as many as there are made out to be. Now someone is definitely hacking just because they think someone is hacking. In addition, I find the idea of using hacks to "hack the hackers" laughable at best. I've been accused of it myself (and no, I wasn't cheating). That said, I've seen a lot of people get accused of hacking when I thought they were legit. But, you wouldn't want a system that works too well, otherwise nobody would be re-buying the game cause they'll just get busted again. At worst, I think there might be the possibility of a lack of effort working on weeding out cheaters because when they do get caught, they can just re-buy the game. but when your games are constantly overrun by hackers and people get tired of that, you start losing your playerbase. That might be a good way to make money in the short term. The issue with hackers/botters are far more noticeable because there is nobody to kick or ban them from the server Without private servers being 'looked after' by admins and mods. Im sure they have tonnes of money to spare but even they dont see the game having any longevity. EA doesnt want it because they dont think it will get them a return on investment while DICE's excuse was that they would have to redesign part of the game to be able to run with private servers and all the other business that comes along with it. EA/Dice are relying on their own form of anti-cheat and either that one guy they hire to review footage has been overworked and died so the bans have stopped or EA really just dont care.ĮA/DICE have been throwing up nothing but excuses when it comes to the server rental programme. With private servers, there are occasionally mods and admins who play on them and will ban hackers from coming back before they eventually get picked up by punkbuster. ![]() there is currently no real way to deal with people who are hacking/botting. The problem here is because EA has no plans to allow people to rent their own servers. but I have seen a lot of hackers being banned through punkbuster throughout the years. thats why the cheating has never stopped in over 10yrs on BF.Ĭheating never stops. these people are all involved the devs of the game and the devs of the cheats. The main reason the cheats still work is because at 20 - 40 pounds the DEVS are raising millions of pounds selling their cheats. ![]() EA will now be getting a letter from me demanding they pay back the 70pounds I payed out for this cheat fest.Īt this point the devs should hold their heads in shame as the game is mostly only still played by cheaters. on principle I missed out the star wars series and only bought battlefield V as a last try. nothing had been done to prevent cheating. It was apparent that the same cheats worked with the newer games. So I didnt play bf4 after buying it as it was full of cheaters. The sentiment has been exactly the same on virtually every bf game. Other cheaters would then blazingly post that I simply cant play the game, and that if I didnt like it I shouldn't play at all. I remember absolutely loving battlefield, then the hacks started and the game was just turned into a pile of crap. ![]() To SAVE Weekly Rewards progress and keep earned trophies, sign-in with a Microsoft Account. ![]() Unlock Double XP everywhere in Solitaire for the rest of the week.īegin each week with another chance to earn Weekly Rewards! One question about CDFA: what is the reasoning behind this change from stepwise? Do they suppose that aircraft/pilots nowadays are better capable of correctly fly the continuous decent? This is where the Standard Instrument Arrival (STAR) starts. If you open Skyvector you can see the point PUMAL I’m using in the example below, is the point where you leave the en-route (airway) system. Where can you find each of those phases? En-route Segment The approach is then either continued to a landing if sufficient visual references are attained or a missed-approach is executed if not. The MAPt is usually the point where the glidepath intercepts the Decision Altitude. The final approach starts at the FAF or FAP and ends at the Missed Approach Point (MAPt). Intermediate approach is the usually straight segment between the IF and the FAP - Final Approach Point (Precision or APV approach) or FAF - Final Approach Fix (non-precision approach). The initial approach starts at the IAF and ends at the Intermediate Fix (IF) the IF is located on the extended centerline (point of localizer intercept) usually a few miles (minimum 2 nm) prior glideslope intercept or start of descent on non-precision approach. This segment is used to slow down the aircraft and descent for approach, it often ends in a holding pattern over the IAF. ![]() The Arrival segment starts from where the en-route segment (airway) is left and ends at the Initial Approach Fix (IAF). Missed Approach (which itself is split into the same phases above minus arrival)Įach of those phases serve a purpose in maneuvering, slowing down and configuring the aircraft for approach. The first thing to understand is that the arrival / approach to an airport is split into segments: I don’t know exactly from which direction you were approaching so I just took a random arrival. Some just have lower start points than others! Other than the full-on Cat III landings, all landings end with a visual approach. In the sim, fly it like you want, since there’s no FAA looking over your shoulder!! But if you’re going to simulate bad weather and low ceilings/visibility, then you might want to use the appropriate approach for the conditions. terminology, here for simplicity, but the concepts are the same, just minor terminology differences for the most part). The VOR MDA is 530’, whereas the DH for the ILS is 208’. That allows you to fly into lower weather ceilings and visibility than a VOR/localizer type approach. You fly the final altitude in level flight until you see the runway or hit the missed approach point and go around or go away! This Minimum Descent Altitude is virtually always higher than the Decision Height for ILS approaches, which give you a (normally) constant descent angle that gets you to a (normally) lower altitude DH. ![]() Those approaches normally entail several step-down altitudes as you get closer. VOR/DME, or localizer approaches are non-precision approaches, meaning they don’t have glide slope information. IRL, the biggest factors for commercial airlines are company policy, and the biggest real-life factor for everyone from PP to ATR is the weather and currency. ![]() This will take you to a new page where you can manage various aspects of your Paypal account. ![]() ![]() ![]() Draw any shape you want and then warp each individual point. Polygon slices (poly what?) This new way of video mapping is so innovative we even had to think of a name for it -) We’re calling them Poly Slices. You can now work on a complex mapping with the ease of mind that you can always go back in time, like Doc & Marty. Sometimes you need to fiddle the sliders until it’s pixel perfect. This is incredibly handy because video mapping can become quite complex and is not always an exact science. Undo (yes really) In the advanced output you can now undo (and redo) all your actions. Zoooooomin With stages becoming bigger and LED resolutions going up it’s now easier to get everything pixel perfect by zooming in to your slices as far you need to make the final adjustment. Projection mapping has gone from an artsy curiosity to a requirement in the toolbox of all VJ's. Projecting on DJ booths and cars and buildings, as well as pixel mapping giant stages like Ultra. With Arena you can take on any size mapping project. We wanted to make this even easier and even more flexible with Resolume Arena 5. Video mapping has taken the world by storm the past few years. We looked at the most important features that needed to be improved and this was clearly video mapping in Arena. It was time for something new, and we are proud to present to you: Resolume Arena 5. In those 4 years we released many many updates which brought a lot of improvements, effects and new features. It’s been 4 years since we introduced Resolume Avenue & Arena 4. You then get the freedom to tweak and play ON TOP OF all of this movement.UNION | | WiN 914 MB | OSX 1.08 GB We're proud to present to you: Resolume Arena 5.0. Automating effects will allow you to create a dynamic show with little user input. It's always good to assign a button on your controller to be tap tempo). Throughout the night I start attaching automation to the different parameters which I think have been working for that show (again, keeping it with the beat is great so I try to tap tempo in Resolume quite often. This give you the ability to slowly change the parameters over the night and keep the whole show dynamic.Īutomation is sort of the ultimate thing (in my opinion). Then you control that macro with a knob on your controller. Then, set the range for these parameters so that the 'end points' (mins and maxs) of the whole range looks good. More concretely, I recommend using the macro controls in Resolume which allow you to attach multiple effect parameters to one control (one knob). Knobs are nice to change parameters for different effects you're using. Often I try to keep everything in time with the DJ and i'll even use Ableton inbetween my controller and Resolume so that once I get a sequence I like, I can record it and loop it (thus freeing my hands for other things and/or letting me go to the bathroom). Kind of like having a drum pad that has video instead of audio samples. To do this I try to map my controller in a way that lets me follow the beat. In general when i'm running projections for a DJ, my goal is to create a sympathetic or coherent visual experience to accompany the music. What visual experience are you trying to achieve?
